I have decided to call my film 'Fallen' as the first shot of the film is Cupid falling to the ground. Also, my film is a rom-com where Cupid and the his love interest realise they have fallen in love with each other. It also connotes the idea of a fallen angel that goes against the rules, which plays into Cupid's character.
Tagline: An immortal god. A mortal writer. When love comes into the mix, will they keep what they're used to, or will their lives fall apart?
Cupid falls from Mount Olympus down to Earth, landing in a remote part of the woods. Upon venturing out on to the common he is still bewildered and confused. Katie, a young writer, given up on love, sits on this common, writing her fantasy love stories, in an attempt to feel better about being single. They bump into each other quite literally, and Cupid realises from her handwriting in the dropped notebook, that he has been sent to help her find love.
They develop a good friendship, and learn about each other more. Cupid keeps setting Katie up on dates that somehow never seem to last. Through these dates, Katie soon comes to realise that Cupid is actually the one she is falling in love with. Katie confronts Cupid with this information, and this pushes Cupid away.
Cupid soon comes to realise that he too is in love with Katie but he cannot stay a god and love her. The rules have changed on Mount Olympus and mortals can no longer be brought back to Mount Olympus. Cupid decides that Katie is worth it, and becomes a fallen god, he no longer holds the title of Cupid, god of love. Katie, realising that he has done all this for her, gets together with him and they are finally happy.

This is a lovely, original, light-hearted idea. It may be a tough task to carry it off, but with green screen and the right actors and clothing, I am sure it will be convincing.
